Green Ghoul is a ghost supervillain who appeared in the Halloween crossover, The Haunted Thundermans. He was a powerful ghost that was once imprisoned by Hank Thunderman but escaped after Miles and Louie accidentally freed him. He is portrayed by David Ury.
Biography
Green Ghoul once a powerful ghost supervillain who was close to taking over the world and could only be stopped by Thunder Man and was sent to a special prison - "Ghost World Prison for the Criminally Insane".
Twenty years later, Miles and Louie accidentally crack a prison wall allowing the Green Ghoul to escape and assures to get revenge on Thunder Man.
In order to get revenge on Hank, Green Ghoul possesses Chad to get close to Phoebe. He goes to the Hathaways bakery as Chad and invites Phoebe to the Halloween party, which Phoebe accepts. At the party, the Green Ghoul, as Chad, takes Phoebe outside the party in a garden and tricks Phoebe to remove the amulet preventing ghosts from possessing her so that the Green Ghoul can possess her and combine ghost powers with Phoebe's powers. The Green Ghoul is confronted by Max but the Green Ghoul, as Phoebe, fights off Max and goes directly to the Hathaways house to get revenge on Hank. Green Ghoul was impressed with Max's skills and offered a chance to work with him, but Max declined.

The Green Ghoul's defeat
The Green Ghoul goes directly to the Hathaways house to get revenge on Hank and finds Hank, Barb and Ray stuck in a ghost cage. As Phoebe, he opens the cage so only Hank was let out and the rest remain in the cage. Hank refuses to fight his daughter while Green Ghoul uses his ghost powers and Phoebe's powers to hurt Hank. Max enters and announces he is joining sides with the Green Ghoul and while he makes a speech about being evil, he uses his powers on Phoebe to distract the Green Ghoul so that Miles could also possess Phoebe to force the Green Ghoul from Phoebe's body which he does successfully. The Green Ghoul turns into human form and Phoebe and Max used their freeze breath at the same time to turn the Green Ghoul into stone and Hank carries the Green Ghoul and puts him in the ghost cage by himself and is re-captured again.
Personality
The Green Ghoul is notorious for his ruthless nature, making him one of the most feared villains both on Earth and in Ghost World. His reputation precedes him as a cunning and merciless antagonist. Intriguingly, he took a keen interest in mentoring Max Thunderman, recognizing the young superhero's potential and considering him as a protégé.
Powers
As a spirit/ghost, The Green Ghoul has all the standard/same ghost powers as Louie, Miles, and Ray Preston. He can use his ghost powers by snapping his fingers. If he possesses a superhero, he can combine his ghost powers with their superpowers but he can be kicked out of a body he is possessed by another ghost (even one weaker than him).

- Invisibility: Possessing the power of invisibility, the Green Ghoul remains undetectable to humans, rendering himself unseen by their eyes. However, other ghosts and superheroes, who possess the unique ability of "True Sight," are capable of perceiving him in his ghostly form. They possess the extraordinary capability to see and hear ghosts, allowing them to interact with and be aware of the Green Ghoul's presence.
- Possession: The Green Ghoul is able to possess and control others and used it on Phoebe to combine her superpowers with his ghost powers.
- Voice Manipulation: Throughout the crossover, the Green Ghoul frequently employed his overshadowing ability, seamlessly transitioning between his own voice and that of the individual he was overshadowing. This unique power is accompanied by a distinct visual effect, such as glowing eyes, which serves as a noteworthy indication when he is inhabiting a human host.
- Flight/Levitation: As a ghost, the Green Ghoul can fly and levitate in the air.
- Teleportation: As a ghost, the Green Ghoul is able to move from one location to another by snapping his fingers. Ray stopped him from escaping by using his ghost powers to stop him snapping his fingers so Phoebe and Max could freeze him and put him in the ghost cage.
