The Mastermind is portrayed by Nikolai Witschl and voiced by Darin DePaul.
Biography[]
Bryson Chance is the son of tech billionaire, Lazlo Chance, who founded Chance Technologies. He secretly wanted to be a supervillain and used the Chip-Chucker device on his dad to turn evil and become a supervillain. While Lazlo Chance was The Mastermind in Secret Shores, Bryson Chance attended a boarding school in Paris. While mind-controlled, Lazlo Chance assumed the identity of The Mastermind where he formed a new Villain League using his intellect and resources with plans of taking over Secret Shores and then the world. He interacted with many of his villains and henchmen in a hi-tech room that only Lazlo Chance and Bryson Chance have access to.
Thundercover[]
The Hero League found an encrypted message by the Mastermind on the Evil Web to invite the most vile supervillains to join his new Villain League in Secret Shores. President Kickbutt tells the Thunder Twins that the Mastermind is a threat to Secret Shores and that they have to stay to defeat him.

Phoebe and Max go to his hi-tech room at Chance Technologies and open it using B.C.'s ring. The Mastermind was waiting for them while staring at a mural of himself. He picks up a laser katana and fights against the two of them. After he is defeated, Phoebe unmasks The Mastermind to be Lazlo Chance but notice that he was mind-controlled with the Chip-Chucker and realize the true Mastermind is still out there. When Chloe tells Bryson Chance his dad is the Mastermind, he reveals that he is the true Mastermind and has been tricking Chloe so she helps him in becoming the most powerful villain in the world.
The Mastermind Unmasked: Part 2[]
B.C. threatens to hurt Booch and Jinx if Chloe does not go to a cave under Secret Shores to bring him back an ancient amulet that infuses the powers of superheroes to whoever is wearing it and only a true superhero can retrieve it. While Chloe teleported to the cave, he sends a drone to Hi-Tech Beach Home where the rest of the Thunderman Family were to release Giggle Gas causing them to laugh uncontrollably. When Chloe returns with the amulet, B.C. reveals he chipped both Booch and Jinx so they could be his evil minions. They take the amulet off Chloe and give it to B.C. which transforms him into The Mastermind and capable of copying other superheroes' powers when near them. The Mastermind takes Chloe's Teleportation and the rest of the Thunderman Family who showed on B.C.'s yacht.
The Mastermind teleports with Booch and Jinx to Chance Technologies so he could connect the crystal from the Power Amulet with Chance Technologies' cellular network which would enable him to copy every superhero's powers on the planet. The Mastermind connected the crystal and retained the powers he already copied by wearing the amulet. Chloe teleports with the rest of her family to Chance Technologies and distract The Mastermind so Chloe could teleport and disconnect the crystal. The Mastermind fights Phoebe and Max and is pushed into his hi-tech room when Billy super speeds into him. Phoebe, Max, Chloe and Billy take the crystal with Chloe teleporting them away while Hank and Barb fight with The Mastermind.
The Mastermind tracked Phoebe, Max, Chloe and Billy at The Thundermans' Home and froze Hank and Barb outside their door. He tracked them using their phones to be at Secret Shores School. After Chloe gives the crystal to Billy, he runs away while The Mastermind followed him with his Super Speed. He is shoved into a volleyball net at the school and slowed down. The Mastermind followed Phoebe, Max and Chloe to the cave where the amulet was guarded by the Cave Guardian. The crystal is protected by the force field around it and The Mastermind could not use his powers to break through it. He accidentally reveals his evil intentions to why he needs the crystal so the Cave Guardian makes the cave start collapsing on him with a big rock dropping on The Mastermind. Phoebe and Max save him by removing the rock off him while Chloe took the amulet returning The Mastermind back to B.C. B.C. is taken away when he is teleported by Chloe with Phoebe and Max.
