Thundercover is the first episode in Season 1 of The Thundermans: Undercover and the series premiere of the show. It premiered on January 11, 2025, as a sneak peek after the NFL Wild Card.
Plot[]
Summary[]
Phoebe and Max are assigned a new mission in their hi-tech beach home base, where their superhero identities remain a secret. They bring Chloe along to help her have a normal life, but the trio must stop the threats of Secret Shores and the true supervillain known as the Mastermind. [1]
Full Plot[]
The Thunder Twins host a meeting with Chloe, Barb and Hank. Phoebe reports that Cherry, Principal Bradford and Mrs. Wong had their new powers removed and Max reports that Nora and Billy are on a mission fighting Dr. Plutonium. Hank and Barb go to the Hiddenville city limits to fix an electrical tower. Chloe's new friends, Blair and Tiff, come over and Phoebe and Max believe that they are only friends with Chloe because of her superpowers. President Kickbutt contacts Phoebe and Max and gives them an assignment to go undercover in Secret Shores to find out who is sending evil transmissions from Secret Shores. She also tells them that their identities are unknown in Secret Shores and their internet presence was wiped out. Phoebe has an idea of inviting Chloe on the mission so she could get friends who don't know she is a superhero. While alone, Dr. Colosso is contacted through the Thunder Monitor and sneaks into Max's suitcase so he could get to Secret Shores.
Chloe teleports with Phoebe and Max to their new beach house and Max finds out Dr. Colosso sneaked into his suitcase. They are introduced to Thunderford who was tasked to help with their undercover mission. Thunderford shows them their command center through an anti-gravity slide. While alone again, Dr. Colosso is contacted and been promised he will be turned back to human again when he finds a key card hidden in the beach home by a superhero who used to live there.
At Secret Shores School, Phoebe gives Chloe a pretend mission to make friends. Chloe becomes friends with Booch and Jinx and they go snake boarding and teach injured snakes how to skate. Max detects a transmission that was sent to their beach house with the only person being there is Dr. Colosso.
At the beach house, Dr. Colosso finds the key card and shows it to the evil transmission. The evil transmission lied to Dr. Colosso about turning him human again and already took a screenshot of the key card to make a 3D replica to use to access the Hero League weapons vault. Phoebe and Max find out and ask Thunderford to explain more about the key card. Thunderford reveals the key card accesses a weapons vault containing the Giga Gauntlet owned by the evil tech genius, Malware. Chloe teleports to the command center and found out Phoebe and Max lied to her and only brought her to Secret Shores to make new friends. Chloe teleports back to Hiddenville and short after, President Kickbutt contacts the Thunder Twins that Malware escaped from prison and stole back his Giga Gauntlet.
Thunderford gives Phoebe and Max the location of Malware's lair. Malware fights Phoebe and Max with his Giga Gauntlet and is frozen after with Phoebe's freeze breath. The Giga Gauntlet defrosts him and hits Phoebe and Max with lasers. Malware then ties Phoebe and Max on chairs next to a wall that releases fire.
Back at The Thundermans' Home, Chloe teleports with Blair and Tiff and figures out that they were only using her to teleport to places and become famous so she ditches them and teleports back to Secret Shores to help Phoebe and Max. Chloe teleports Phoebe and Max away from the firewall before it goes off and she teleports Malware's Giga Gauntlet off his arm. Phoebe and Max then freeze him and return back to their beach house.
At the beach house, President Kickbutt contacts the Thunder Twins and thanks them for capturing Malware. She also tells them the Hero League found an encrypted message by the Mastermind on the Evil Web to invite the vilest supervillains to join his new Villain League in Secret Shores. President Kickbutt tells the Thunder Twins that the Mastermind is a threat to Secret Shores and that they have to stay to defeat him; thus, their mission is not yet over, it's just beginning. Booch and Jinx arrive to go watch a movie with Chloe who was about to tell them that she was going back to Hiddenville but Phoebe and Max allow Chloe to stay on the mission.

- Billy is only seen running in super speed which was also done in Rhythm n' Shoes.

- Nora and Billy do not appear in this episode, as they are fighting a villain named Dr. Plutonium. However, Billy quickly zooms by in a voiceover cameo.
- Dr. Colosso referenced One Piece when Max & Phoebe confronted him.
- As after The Thundermans Return, Chloe's voice is deeper as she previously had a kid voice in the film. Possibly because Maya going puberty after the filming of the movie until the filming of The Thundermans: Undercover.
